King - ambitious politician and businessman, who has just discovered that his wife is not so pure as she seems.

Cardinal - his friend and deputy, also a mafioso. In love with Queeny.

Queeny - young lady who decided to earn herself. She is already a bigwig in smuggling whiskey.
